【摘要】:Thesamplingproceduresdescribedinthispracticehavebeendesignedtoensurerandomsamplingofwetblueforphysicalandchemicaltests.Wetblueisanaturalproductandassuchissubjecttoextensivevariability.Thephysicalandchemicalpropertiesvaryconsiderablydependingonlocationonthehide,side,orskinfromwhichthetestsampleistaken.Randomsamplingofspecimensfromapredefinedlocationandorientationminimizestestbiasandvariability.Thispracticedefinestheseparameters.1.1Thispracticecoversthesamplingandpreparationofwetblueforphysicalandchemicaltests.Theproductisgroupedintolotsthatarerandomlysampledinsuchamannerastoproducearepresentativesampleofthelot.Thissamplemaybeusedtodeterminecomplianceofthelotwithapplicablespecificationrequirements,andonthebasisofresults,thelotmaybeacceptedorrejectedinitsentirety.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
